Frequently Asked Questions

Can I train if I have no previous experience?

Absolutely. Many students begin their journey with no previous experience of sound healing, music, meditation or facilitating groups.

Do I need to be musical?

Not at all. Sound healing is about intention, awareness and understanding the instruments rather than musical ability.

Do I need to buy instruments before training?

No. Instruments are provided during training, allowing you to experience different options before deciding what may be right for you in the future.

Will I be confident enough to facilitate a sound bath?

Practical training and ongoing support are designed to help you build confidence step by step. By the end of your training, you will have the skills needed to begin sharing sound with others.

What happens after training?

Students receive ongoing support, mentorship and access to a supportive practitioner community, helping them continue developing their skills and confidence.

Which course is right for me?

If you're unsure which training pathway best aligns with your goals, please get in touch. I will be happy to discuss your aspirations and help guide you towards the most suitable option.

Can I train on a 1-2-1 basis?

Yes. Most training is delivered on a 1-2-1 basis, creating a personalised learning experience tailored to your individual goals and learning style.

Are training dates flexible?

Yes. Weekday and weekend training options are available, and dates can often be arranged around your availability, simply use the contact form, send me your availability.

Why are some training courses longer than yours?

Training hours aren't always directly comparable. Many courses are taught in larger groups, which naturally requires more time for everyone to practise, ask questions, receive individual guidance and be assessed.

Much of my training is delivered 1:1 or in very small groups of 3 so your time with me is focused on your learning, practice and development.

I don't extend courses simply to increase the number of advertised training hours. I prefer focused, practical teaching, while recognising that everyone learns at a different pace.

That's also why I offer my TRAINING GUARANTEE If you've completed your course with me and feel you need additional time, more practice or would benefit from attending the course again, you can return at no additional training cost, subject to availability.

I'd much rather give you the extra time you personally need than assume every student needs exactly the same number of hours.

What if I need extra time during training?

Training days are typically scheduled between 11am and 4pm, however learning is never rushed. If additional time is needed to practise, ask questions or build confidence, we simply continue until the training feels complete.

I Live Further Away – Can I Still Train With You?

Absolutely. Students regularly travel from across the UK and overseas to train with me.

If you are travelling from further afield, I am happy to help you find accommodation to suit your budget, with a variety of options available close to the studio.

The studio is easily accessible by train from Manchester and many other UK locations, with local train stations just a short taxi ride away. If you have any questions about travelling, accommodation or planning your visit, please feel free to get in touch and I will be happy to help.

Why train with me?

Meet Sarah

My journey into the world of sound began in 2012 following a life-changing experience with viral meningitis, which gently guided me back towards a more holistic way of living. Since then, I have continued to explore the powerful relationship between sound, wellbeing and personal growth, formally studying the effects of sound since 2016.
What began as a personal journey of healing evolved into a passion for supporting others through sound, meditation and holistic wellbeing practices.
With over 5 years' experience facilitating sound baths and over 3 years training practitioners, I continue to deliver regular sound healing events, workshops and accredited training throughout the UK. Along the way, I have collaborated with yoga teachers, wellbeing practitioners, retreat organisers, charities, educational settings and corporate organisations.
One of the greatest joys of teaching is witnessing the ripple effect that occurs when someone discovers the confidence to share sound with others.
Whether your goal is personal development, professional growth or creating your own wellbeing offering, my aim is to provide a supportive and encouraging environment where you can learn, grow and develop your own authentic approach.
Sound has the ability to create moments of stillness, reflection and connection. It continues to inspire me every day, and it is a privilege to share that journey with others.

Why Train with me?

Choosing a training course is about more than gaining a qualification. It's about who guides you through the journey and the environment in which you learn.
Unlike many training providers, I offer training in a relaxed and supportive setting where you receive my full attention. Most courses are delivered on a 1-2-1 basis, allowing training to be tailored to your individual goals, learning style and experience.
There is no sensory overload, no waiting your turn and no getting lost in a large group. Instead, you have the time and space to fully absorb the training, ask questions and build confidence at your own pace.
Whilst training days are typically scheduled between 11am and 4pm, I never rush the learning process. If additional time is needed to practise, ask questions or build confidence with the instruments, we simply continue until the training feels complete.
Alongside training practitioners, I continue to facilitate sound baths, retreats, workshops, charity events, corporate wellbeing sessions and community experiences. This means the knowledge I share is not only based on training, but on real-world experience gained through working with people in a wide variety of settings.
The Sound bath Training studio based in Greater Manchester, itself has been described by many students as a calm, peaceful and nurturing space where they feel safe to learn, create and explore without judgement. As a private dedicated studio, it offers the opportunity to step away from the distractions of everyday life and fully immerse yourself in the learning experience.
Most importantly, my aim is not simply to help you complete a course, but to support you in developing the confidence, knowledge and practical skills to share sound in a way that feels authentic to you.

More Than a Training Course

When you choose to train with me, you're investing in far more than a qualification.

My aim is to give you the confidence to put your training into action straight away, with the reassurance that my support doesn't end when the course finishes.

I don't believe in teaching you for a day and then saying goodbye. Whether you need practical guidance, mentoring, business advice, promotion support or encouragement as you begin your journey;

I continue investing in you because your success genuinely matters to me.

With 1-2-1 and small group training, you'll receive individual coaching and the confidence to develop your own unique style, knowing you'll have ongoing support as you grow into a confident Sound Bath Practitioner.

When you invest in training with me, I continue investing in you.
